Volume Firing Multiple Lightweight Items (each item weighing under 300g)
Glaze Firing Multiple Items- charged by volume at £7.50 per A4 sheet
Place your lightweight items onto a A4 piece of paper. Allow adequate space of approximately 1cm around each piece and not touching, this also includes any clay firing discs. Work out the firing costs by the volume of work that fits on the sheet.
Any extra items that don’t fit within this area will be charged individually at £2.50 each.
Extra Charges
Glaze Drips onto Kiln Shelf- charged at £10
Glaze Drips onto other Work- charged at £25
Multiple Drips- £50 per Shelf
You will be notified of any extra charges via email or text- payment is due on collection of your work.
If you are unsure of your calculations please get in touch. Miscalculations will be notified via text or email for extra payment before firing.
Glaze items need be brought on individual clay bats to help safeguard your wares and kiln shelves in case glazes run.
Any glazes currently not used in the studio MUST be tested in the kiln first.
Please make sure all items have been appropriately cleaned and the bottoms are free from any traces of glaze.
No combustibles such as paper, fabric or metal are allowed to be fired in the kiln.
Drop Off and Collection Days are Thur 6-8pm & Sat 10-1pm
Once your items are in the kiln you’ll be notified via text or email when they’ll be ready for collection.
