6 Week Beginners Hand Building Pottery Course- 12 hours
Enter the world of hand building ceramics.
In this beginners hand building pottery class, you’ll:
Hand build a variety of ceramics (no potter’s wheel required).
Learn the main hand building pottery techniques in week 1 and week 2; coiling, slab rolling, carving & pinch pots.
With tutor guidance you’ll make something independently based on the skills you’ve learnt in week 3 and week 4.
Glaze and finish your pieces.
All materials, firing, and kiln costs are included in the price.
This is a small group class (up to 6 students) taught in our Sheffield pottery studio, so you’ll get individual guidance and plenty of time to experiment.
This pottery class is taught in 6 sessions totally 12 hours and runs over 6 consecutive weeks.
How to Book: Choose a start date and time slot from the drop down menu.
Collection of work: Most pieces are ready in about 10-14 days after your class has finished.
Payments: All workshops must be paid for in advance via the website.
Cancellation and refunds: If you wish to cancel your place on a workshop you must do so at least 10 days before it starts to receive a full refund. Cancellation must be made in writing or email. If you cancel your place less than 10 days before your workshop starts, you will only receive a refund of 50%. Alternatively you can reschedule and book onto another equivalent workshop.
