Discover Our New Screen-Printed Plate Pottery Class at Andrew Walker Ceramics
Hand Building Pottery Class
Are you ready to try something creative, hands-on, and beautiful? We’re thrilled to announce our new Screen-Printed Plate pottery class — a 4-hour workshop, taught over two consecutive sessions, where you’ll create your own printed ceramic plate set from scratch.
In this class, you’ll:
Hand build one large plate and one small plate (no potter’s wheel).
Learn how to roll, form, and shape clay into plates.
Use stencil and screen-printing methods to imprint designs onto your plates (choose from leaves, feathers, mushrooms, birds).
Glaze and finish your pieces.
All materials, firing, and kiln costs are included in the price.
This is a small group class (up to 6 students) so you’ll get individual guidance and plenty of time to experiment. Most pieces will be ready to collect in about 10–14 days after the class (depending on kiln schedule).
In just a few hours, you get to make something beautiful, tactile, and functional. You’ll gain experience in hand building and surface decoration (screen printing) — a rare combo.
It’s a perfect gift or homeware: You’ll end up with a unique plate set you’ll be proud to display or use.
